Our Company handles personal data in compliance with applicable laws, primarily the 2011 CXII Act on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information (InfoTV.), and the EU’s 2016/679 Regulation (GDPR).

Our Company treats personal data confidentially and takes all necessary IT and organizational measures for secure data management.

This notice is issued to fulfill our Company’s information obligations under GDPR.

What is the purpose of data management? In today’s fast-paced information society, our Company primarily communicates with its partners and clients electronically. We handle your personal data during electronic communication related to any matter in accordance with the principles outlined in this notice. The purpose of managing your personal data is to respond to your inquiries after you have contacted our Company. Contact may occur in relation to an already concluded contract or prior to contract conclusion through the www.telegaertner.hu website or email request.

What personal data do we manage? Through our website www.telegaertner.hu, we manage the following data:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Company name

What technical data do we manage? Technically recorded data during the operation of the system: data generated by the user’s logging computer while using the service, automatically recorded by the service provider’s system as part of technical processes. These automatically recorded data are logged without any user declaration or action upon logging in and out. These data cannot be linked to other personal user data, except as required by law. Only the Service Provider has access to these data.

Cookie management During visits to the website, one or more cookies (small files containing a series of characters) are sent to the visitor’s computer, uniquely identifying their browser.

  • Session cookies: automatically deleted after the user’s visit. They ensure the effective and secure operation of the website.

What is the legal basis for data management? According to Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR, data management is necessary for the performance of a contract in which you are a party, or for taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. Our Company considers electronic communication with partners as preliminary data management related to a future contract (agreement) or data management related to an already concluded contract.

Who are the concerned parties in data management? Only our employees authorized for communication, decision-making, or proposal related to your order or contract execution can access your personal data.

Web analytics and visit statistics

Our data processors handle your personal data according to the applicable legal requirements and our contractual instructions. They have no autonomous decision-making rights regarding data management unless prescribed by law. They have committed to confidentiality and contractual guarantees for the preservation of personal data.

Do we transfer personal data to a third country or international organization? Our Company does not transfer your personal data to a third country or international organization.

How long do we manage your personal data? If any contract or agreement is concluded between you and our Company, we manage the personal data obtained during communication related to the contract for the duration of the contract, up to the expiration of the limitation period. The general limitation period is one year unless a longer retention period is prescribed by law. If no contract or agreement is concluded after preliminary data management, we delete the data after communication ends.

Is automated decision-making or profiling conducted? Neither automated decision-making nor profiling occurs during data management.

What rights do you have regarding data management? You have the right to be informed! You have the right to information regarding data management, which our Company fulfills by providing this notice.

You have the right to consent-based data management! If data management is based on your consent according to Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Note that withdrawal of consent only applies to data with no other legal basis for processing. If there is no other legal basis for processing, we will delete the personal data permanently and irreversibly after withdrawal of consent. Withdrawal does not affect the legality of data processing conducted based on consent before its withdrawal.

You have the right to access! Upon your request, the Company will inform you whether your personal data are being processed and, if so, provide details on the data and processing.

You have the right to rectification! You may request the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you without undue delay. You also have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including through a supplementary statement.

Please report any changes in your personal data to facilitate lawful data management and the enforcement of your rights.

You have the right to deletion! You may request the deletion of your personal data without undue delay if:

  • The data are no longer needed for their original purpose.
  • You object to data processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds.
  • The data were processed unlawfully.
  • Deletion is required to comply with legal obligations. The Company may not fulfill your deletion request if continued data management is necessary for legal obligations or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. Data deletion is permanent and irreversible.

You have the right to restriction of processing! You may request the restriction of data processing if:

  • You contest the accuracy of the personal data, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy.
  • The processing is unlawful, and you oppose deletion, requesting restriction instead.
  • The Company no longer needs the data, but you require them for legal claims.
  • You have objected to processing, pending verification of overriding legitimate grounds. Restricted data, except for storage, can only be processed with your consent or for legal claims, rights protection, or important public interest.

You have the right to object! If data processing is based on the Company’s legitimate interests or your consent (e.g., old newsletter subscription), you may object to data processing related to your situation. The Company will cease processing unless there are compelling legitimate grounds or legal claims.

You have the right to data portability! You may request your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and have the right to request their transfer to another data controller. You may also request direct transfer between controllers.

What is the procedure for exercising your rights? You can exercise your rights by emailing rakotrade@rakotrade.hu, mailing a letter to our registered office (2092 Budakeszi, Tiefenweg utca 53), or visiting our office in person. We will begin processing your request without undue delay and inform you of our actions within 30 days.
